" I have been practicing alternative medicine since 1980, when I was diagnosed with gallstones. I was told I needed my gall bladder removed. Thank God, I did not have a blue cross card to plop down on the counter and say take it out. I was forced to seek alternatives. I still have my gall bladder.

Anyway, I have always known about essiac. I have recommended it to many of my patients over the years, but never saw the ‘need’ to take it myself. I didn’t have cancer! Then three weeks ago, another patient came in needing essiac. I didn’t realize that there was as many different formulas out there or that essiac could be used for so many different things. My patient suggested that I make a two-week supply from her order because one of her friends used essiac successfully for bronchitis, which I was fighting at that time.

Two weeks later and I am well. Also, I can truthfully say that I have more energy and feel better, as well as sleep better on essiac. "A few years back I was locking a sliding glass door and as I was turning the key my finger hit the frame and almost took my fingernail off. It didn't seem like a big deal so I just wrapped it with a bandaid and went along with my business.

I kept having a problem with my finger because the nail wasn't growing back. A pocket started to form on the nail portion of my finger but I didn't pay too much attention at first. That happened back in 2002. After three years it still had not gone away so in September of 2005 I went to get X-rays of my finger. They told me that it was a nodular melanoma and it had spread up into my arm. They said they would have to amputate my finger in order to keep the cancer from spreading to other parts of my body.
I did decide to go in for an operation but I just had them remove the cancer from my arm. I didn't want them to take my finger off. However, it turned out that they could not get all the cancer and it had started moving up my finger.

After I went home and they continued calling me to come in and have my finger amputated, but I told them I wanted another opinion and I started looking around on the internet for some other options. I decided to have the operation only if all else failed...and then I discovered Essiac.

I ordered some and started it. I noticed that my finger was getting better. I continued putting the doctors off until Dec. 6th 2005 when I went in to see the doctor and explained to him everything that was happening with my finger...it was getting better every day. He saw my finger and smiled and told me to come back in three months, which I did on March 13th 2006.

They took Xrays at that time and told me that the cancer was benign (because doctors don't generally tell you you are cured).

I kept reading about Essiac and found that Rene Caisse (the woman who first found essiac, I learned) had worked with a doctor by the name of Charles Brush in Massachusetts. I learned that he worked with Rene Caisse for 8 years bringing Essiac up to its fullest potency. I also read how he had prostate cancer and cured it with Essiac...that was enough proof for me. I have never been disappointed about my decision [to use Essiac]."

" Hi, I am sending you a testimonial (I've never written one before) about my dog, Peanut and her tumor. Here is a picture of her.

Peanut is 16 years old and started developing this growth on her breast last year, in the spring of 2006. She had three growths along her breast, and one of them started to grow very large. I took her to my vet. He examined her said that the tumors should be operated on. After he listened to her heart he said her heart had too bad of a murmur to survive this type of operation...but that he would leave the decision up to me.

I came home and decided to just make her as comfortable as I can until her time came...I did not want put her through a bunch of medical treatments because of age and her heart. At that point a friend of mine told me about Essaic tea. I mixed it with chicken broth and small chucks of chicken and gave it to her. She weight only 24lbs, but I had her on 3oz, 3 times a day for four months.

The tumor really grew very large...it was about the size of a grapefruit. I thoughthought about putting her down, but she really was in no pain. Since I started her on the tea she finally could sleep at night again and it seemed like the tumor didn't bother her. I just thought I would know when it was time to put her down if necessary. But on the fourth month on essiac the tumor opened and this 'stuff' started to drain out of her. It smelled just awful. I have never smelled anything like it before in my life. It was blackish dark fluid with clumps of tissue. It was almost like a mixture of tar and jelly-looking stuff. I'll never forget that smell. Then I thought, 'maybe its time to put her down.' Then I thought that maybe this is what the tea is doing.

The heavy flow went on for 4 days and then it slowed down. It became more of a clear substance and smells clean and fresh now. The wound is almost closed now, and it's all healthy tissue around it. Today it's the 14th day since it opened.

Peanut feels wonderful. She is eating like a pig, running around and barking (not alot of running, but hey, she's 16 years old!) and just being her old self again.

I will be taking Peanut back to my vet soon and telling him about the Essaic. She still has the two small lumps but they have not grown as of yet. And now she lays on her belly while she sleeps, not her side like she did when the tumor was there. But I will keep her on the tea for the rest of life.

I wish I took a picture of the tumor before the essiac, but I thought that if she died I didn't want that to be her last picture. And I don't like taking pictures of sad things. She lost her one eye about 6 years ago. But she's smiling here. I tried to take a picture of her opening where the tumor was but I'm here alone and she wouldn't lay on her side for me so I could take the picture. She lays on her belly now since all the fluid drained out. Before she could only lay on her side. Again thank you for offering this wonderful tea."

" I was diagnosed on January 16, 2002 with terminal peritoneal cancer, stage 3C. An oncologist gave me less than two years to live. I had a total of 58 cycles of chemotherapy, and my cancer only went into remission once, but it came back. Finally, my oncologist said, 'No more chemo' but gave me less than six months to live.

My cancer levels CA-125 were over 1290. I was retaining fluid and needed to have the excess fluid removed every month. The procedure was very painful I was desperate and found this essiac-tea when I was searching 'Google' one day. Now I have been on the essiac for two months. When I started the essiac is when the oncologist gave me just six months to live.

" Before I started using essiac, I received 33 radiation treatments ending on December 18, 2005 and was pronounced in remission by January 2006. However, by August an X-ray I had done showed that the cancer had returned--the tumor was over 3mm. By September the cancer had grown and was now over 6mm.

I started on the Essiac I had bought at the health food store and the next X-ray still showed growth but less than the previous two. About this time I began using the tea and the X-ray taken showed "No discernible difference,"--in other words, the growth had stopped! I am taking the "Agressive" dose right now and am positive that the next X-ray will show even better results."

" Last year I was diagnosed with hepatitis C. After researching and weighing my options, I decided to take no treatment at this time for various reasons. I had been having chronic, daily pain in my right side along my right ribs for several months. Upon beginning the essiac regimen, I eliminated quite a bit of fluid and had minor cold symptoms, but nothing too uncomfortable and the pain has not returned for several weeks so far. "I started taking essiac tea because my friend (who had been taking essiac for her breast cancer) told me that it could be used as a detox and a general health tea. I had been consuming products made with aspartame for awhile, and started feeling a lack of energy, an increase in pain, increase in weight, and depression. It's hard to say how far-reaching the effects of aspartame were, but I have never felt better. I was diagnosed with lung cancer October 21, 2004. I started chemo and radiation December 5. I was feeling so sick from these treatments through the month of December. It was all I could do to get out of bed. No energy, I felt very depressed. I decided to go with the 6 oz. three times per day of your essiac tea because I am receiving the chemo and radiation. " I started suffering from asthma after repeated bouts of bronchitis in 2003 and 2004. I found myself having to use my inhaler quite often during the day, and eventually experimented with Singulair and Advair. " Essiac tea is amazing. Let me tell you about my mother who has (or had) colon cancer. She is elderly and the doctors warned that she might not survive an operation to try and remove the tumors. We agreed that we would rather have her enjoy her last years as much as possible, living with us etc. rather than be in a hospital trying to recover from invasive surgery. We were on the fence about chemo but decided against it for the time being.

We began giving her essiac tea last November, and we noticed that she seemed happier and more energetic almost right away. " I've been helping care for my aunt for the past three years. Soon after I took her in they discovered rectal cancer. After debating our options we decided to start chemo and radiation. However, we weren't satisfied to stop with that. I was interested in alternative treatments but I didn't want to go with just anything. My priest recommended essiac tea and of course, prayer and faith. Which we had always kept a part of our lives.

We started with a four-herb essiac, I think it was affiliated with a company called "resperin." I started telling my friends and family that my aunt was taking essiac tea and a couple of people suggested that I try to obtain eight-herb essiac. I found eight-herb essiac a couple of months later (I had her on the four-herb formula for about eight months). She was already starting to show an improvement. Mind you, she was taking chemo and radiation as well, and also cat's claw and a bunch of "antioxidant" vitamins. All we knew was that something was working.

My aunt's last CAT scan showed that she was normal: no cancer anywhere in sight! We were so relieved. It's so scary to not know what is happening or what you can do. We dropped her back to 4 oz. twice per day; we had been doing three times per day. Now I am told we can drop back further so we will probably do that after her next check-up. Or, we might keep her on twice per day, who wants to mess with what works. We thank God every day for whatever miracle saved my aunt."
